OTHER LANDS
OF EAST AZOTH

BRYZINE
In this small hamlet on the northern coast resides the only trolls that show any attempt to further peaceful cohabitation among the other races. Similar to the mine trolls, the Bryzines differ by their full sensory abilities and full body of hair to keep themselves warm. This is in sharp contrast to the mine trolls who are hairless and virtually blind. It is claimed by some that the whole purpose of the Bryzines is to allow the trolls a viable method of trading for goods they desperately need and to monitor the world outside of the mines. Whatever the case is, the Bryzines are peaceful and almost docile to those who venture into their land. They are also permitted limited travel through the Grey Hills and Enchanted Forest but still are warily watched.

GREY HILLSDiggy2.GIF (9502 bytes)
The domain of the dwarves. The major city is Varkoruss where King Tyros Kaeron rules. The Kaerons have long held the throne of Varkoruss and Tyros is a relatively new king taking the place of his father, Akmos who perished in the great war where dwarf and Elf teamed together to defeat the Shinde Imas. The coastal village of Kaeron was named for this family that has ruled so long. The village Kaeron is where all young dwarves must prove their manhood in capturing the great fish that line the frozen shore in the third season. The dwarves are a warrior race who long for adventure and battle. The coldness and ice that cover their land half of the year encourages their great strength and heartiness. Dwarven warriors have made their names known through out all of Azoth. Names such as Ramsey Fraley, Roland Tunkik, and Diggorous Gorey. There is few sights that will make an enemy army tremble more than the march of the dwarves riding high in their mastodons and bears.

Elves2.GIF (18776 bytes)ENCHANTED FOREST
Home of the ruling class of the elven race, the Rainbow Elves. The vast population of the Rainbow Elves live in the great city of the Enchanted Forest, Hyljardin. Ruled by Alieandor Goldtree and his two sons, Randal and Arrior. The third son, Yovan was killed by the Shinde Imas. Other elf races inhabit the forest and nearby area also. These include a variety of smaller races and none have the power or structure of the Rainbow Elves. Serene Silverfawn was from the village of Hulsing, one of the many villages within the Enchanted Forest. Also living in the forest are the fairy folk who have a very close relationship with the elves.

GREAT FIELDS OF AZOTH
As the name implies, this land is one gigantic open field. Although the terrain does have forests and hills dotting the landscape, most of it is wide open. The great field serves as a buffer zone between the lands and because it is not part of any kingdom or nation, it often serves as the battlefields. Here were the great battles fought such as the "Forever War" between Drohm and Thorin, the great war between the humans and the elves, and the devastating Orc Wars. Very little of the land is settled. To the west, below the Enchanted Forest lies the constantly shifting home of the Latigo Elves. The Latigos were banished from the forest long ago because of their mottled skin and the belief that they were diseased. Near the O’koth region lies the former city of O’koth itself. Although still referred to as the O’koth City, the city as been renamed Redadra but is seldom used outside of the residents themselves. O’koth is the site of the Paladins, a group of fanatical enforcers who attempt to issue vigilante law wherever they roam. They are tolerated for the most part as they do more good than harm but occasionally they over step their boundaries.

ISLE OF ARDONUS
The former site of the humans which left the island to form the Kingdom of Ardonia. After a black plague infested the land, priests and scholars abandoned the island and left to forge Ardonia from the wilds of the continent. Unknown to them at the time, the plague was caused by the evil of Terroreck who struck out at the lightness of religious belief. When Terroreck realized that man and the goodness had moved to form Ardonia, he attacked there and was defeated, forced to retreat back to the sanctuary of the Cathedral on Ardonus. Ardonus remains a land of darkness that reaches to corrupt all that touch its shore.

Fantasia.GIF (25942 bytes)ISLE OF FANTASIA
Not much is known of this island as visitors are not welcomed. Home to the great Druids, the population is shrouded in dark mystery. Although Druids are welcomed in Ardonia, the Druids do not return the favor.

NIGHT LAND
This is not a formal designation but one of fable and myth. Here, nestled between Thorin and the Enchanted Forest is the land that is to never be traveled by night, hence the name. It is believed that the land freely reside here. Since very little has been seen of the night creatures with the exception of concern by other lands to see if the creatures actually do exist there or not. "Let things be" is the common motto.

O’KOTH FOREST
When the land known as O’koth fell under the religious beliefs of Othariss, it willingly gave up its oO'koth.GIF (11883 bytes)
wn individual identity to fall under the guidance of the religion and the rulership of Ardonia. The much vaulted rangers of O’koth pledged themselves to the service of priesthood and have served with dedication and distinction. The former capital city of the O’koth region Redadra has not followed in line with the rest of O’koth. The new capital city of O’koth is Semiramas which is actually two separate cities as the Sirillian River divides it along the boundary line of O’koth and Ardonia. The only other city of importance in O’koth is the sea village of Arkady on the southern coast.

OLARDELL
The home of the hairfoot halflings. Nestled between the Black Mountains and the Naldoniam Sea, this area is the farthest civilized land in East Azoth. The hairfeet are known to trade with the mine trolls and the barter of fresh fish caught in the sea brings a great deal of ore from the trolls.

THORIN
Once a mighty kingdom in Azoth, it was decimated in a seemingly endless war against Drohm which is usually Thorin.GIF (19878 bytes)
referred to as the "Forever War". As the dynasties of Thorin continued the war against. Drohm, Thoragg the latest heir, sought desperate help in the form of Terroreck. Granted immortality, Thoragg joined Terroreck’s legion of dead. Defeated by the combined might of Ardonia and Drohm, Thoragg retreated to his kingdom of nothing only to be recalled by the re-emergence of Terroreck. Killed by Nilson Radeer in the epic second defeat of Terroreck, Thoragg left behind only his great tower as the only evidence of the once dominating force that was Thorin. The land remains barren and only the ghosts of all who fell remain.

ORC LANDOrcland.GIF (20967 bytes)
Although not a formal designation or recognized land, this area which borders the Black Mountains, Grey Hills, Enchanted Forest, and Thorin seems to be the sanctuary for the fierce Boarelli Orcs. The orcs here are the only race known to travel freely through the maze-like passages of the Black Mountains and visit both East and West Azoth.
